Maddax

Description:
A graphite portrait of a person, completed on 11.07.18.
Reflection:
In school, we were making Christmas cards for Maddax. He had terminal cancer, and his last wish was to get Christmas cards for the holidays. I included this inside the card as a Christmas gift, more so for his parents than for him. But the card itself was for him.
I had a time limit to finish this portrait, which made it harder to get it good enough to give to someone. Given the time restriction, I was not 100% happy with the end result; however, this forced me not to worry about every little detail. Plus, I was able to push the values much better than in my previous work.
Time Spent:
5-8 hours
Materials:
Graphite, pen, colored pencil, small eraser, and kneaded eraser.
