Second Sloth Painting

An acrylic painting of a sloth on canvas.

Reflection:

I made paintings for those close to me for Christmas. This was for a friend who’s favorite animal was a sloth. I had previously painted her a sloth using water color but wanted to make her a better painting.

I found it challenging to paint the background because the acrylic kept drying too fast. This forced me to embrace the uneven blending of the background. I was on a time limit due to multiple factors, so I could not spend too much time focusing on one detail.
